Spoilt For Choice - The Malls are coming fast and furious.

The Harbour Chiang Mai
Not long ago, Chiang Mai had two main shopping malls - Central Kad Suan Keaw opened in 1992, followed then by Central Airport Plaza in 1996.
Chiang Mai has since become one of the ‘must build locations’ for developers, whether it be houses, condominiums, hotels or shopping malls.
Since 2012, plans have been afoot for many more malls, and in some cases construction already underway. From enormous malls like ‘Promenada Resort Mall’ with its Rimping Supermarket (their largest, Chi Chang Sports World, Major Hollywood, along with bowling and ice skating to the smaller boutique style malls like ‘The Harbour’ on Huay Keaw Road.
Wherever you go in and around Chiang Mai, there will be a place to shop, eat, play and relax
Here are some of the malls, see if you can think or anymore?
The Harbour, Huay Keaw Road (open)
The Promenada (due to open shortly)
Central Festival, junction of Super Highway & Doi Saket Road (3Q 2013)
Maya, junction of Super Highway and Kuay Keaw Road (3Q 2013)
The Curve, Chang Klan Road (open?)
The Chill Park, opp. Big C, Hang Dong (not sure what is happening with this!).
V Community, opp. Payap University (final stages, some units opens)
Star Avenue & Star Avenue Lifestyle Mall, Super Highway (both open)
Star Avenue Viva Terrace, Mahidol Road (open)
Chiang Mai Fashion Centre & Green Plus Mall, C.B.P. Super Highway (open?)
If you like shopping, cinemas or a place to retreat with air-con in hot season, then one of these may suit you.
