Chiang Mai!

As well as a great selection of houses and apartments, there is also a fantastic choice of Chiang Mai condominiums for people to consider. A condominium is an apartment, but where the unit is individually owned and common areas and facilities are controlled by the various owners who own parts of the whole building. The term is often shortened to condo, and often used colloquially to mean the same as apartment.
Condos can be found in various prime locations, so whether one is looking to live in the centre the town itself, further out in the suburbs, in a different provincial town or in a fairly remote and secluded area there is a property to suit.
Furnished and unfurnished condominiums are on offer.
Chiang Mai is known for being slightly better value for money than other major Thai cities. This is true also for housing costs. People can get more for their money when living or staying in there, and Chiang Mai condominiums are less expensive than those found in the likes of Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya and other such popular cities.
There is an excellent range of condominiums to rent or buy. Many people choose the hassle free option of renting, as there are no restrictions on foreigners renting property in Thailand. Properties are rented from the individual owners of condos within a block. Buying a condo is relatively straight forward and can be purchased out right in a foreigner's name unlike land in Thailand, making them a much more popular choice among the local expat community.

Another benefit of life in the north is that the economy remains stable and optimistic in a time of global economic uncertainty. It has not seen the same downturns as many other South East Asian cities. Building work, construction and development are still forging ahead in Chiang Mai, meaning that great condominiums are constantly becoming ready to live in.
With its location, attractions, living options, climate and costs, it is no surprise that many foreigners are choosing to relocate to Thailand's second city, and choosing to live in a modern Chiang Mai condominium
